The supposedly "new" book I got has bent corners on the hardback cover, dents in the sides of the cover, curled corners of the cover over the spine and wrinkles to the corners of virtually every page.

The book arrived promptly and in new condition. I have never purchased online before I bought this book and was overall pleased. The one complaint I have is that in my book Chp 5 is labeled Chp 4.
