Waiting for Eugene

SALLIE LOWENSTEIN is the author and illustrator of two picture books and four other illustrated teen novels. She writes and illustrates literary fiction, science fiction and some fantasy. Her books have been honored by the The Bank Street College of Education, The NY Public Library, and The American Library Association. Ms. Lowenstein combines her love of writing with her love of children by mentoring several groups of young writers in Virginia and Maryland, who have begun to receive national recognition in their own right.
