Well read in Native American culture and ceremonies, Kevin Laughing Hawk worked with Ken Two Feathers for ten years researching his life and the lives of other Native Americans to better understand Native American spirituality. These associations led him to participate and later assist in sacred ceremonies with several Native American Nations from the Northern Woodland to the Cherokee, Creek, and Seminole in the southern United States and the Pima, Navajo, and Apache of the southwest. After graduating from Spurgeon College with a major in pastoral studies, Kevin gained his writing experience through more than twenty years of broadcast journalism. He approached this biographical and spiritual insight into the life of Ken Two Feathers from a participant?s view rather than as a reporter. Kevin has been a freelance writer and photographer for over ten years and his articles and photographs have been published in regional and national magazines and periodicals. The positive response he received from articles he wrote about Two Feathers that were published by a Maine periodical encouraged him to write Two Feathers: Spiritual Seed Planter. Kevin, with his wife, Vickie Little Bird, lives in St. Albans, Maine, and winters on the road in the south and southwestern states where both he and Vickie participate as vendors in many powwows and gatherings.Kevin Laughing Hawk is the author of 'Two Feathers: Spiritual Seed Planter', published 2003 under ISBN 9780970097460 and ISBN 0970097468.
