Holly Tienken is a Senior Designer/Art Director at Frederick & Froberg Design in Montclair, New Jersey. She received her BFA in Communications Design at Kutztown University, Pennsylvania. (Her deign career began when she became one of the first designers in what would become a global multidisciplinary design team at Bloomberg L.P. in New York) She began her design career at Bloomberg L.P. in New York as one of the first designers in what would become a global multidisciplinary design team. Over the next 8 years, Ms. Tienken set the design standard for corporate communication materials with a consistent sophisticated and fresh approach. During her tenure at Bloomberg, Ms. Tienken successfully completed her MFA in Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City—studying under some of the most prestigious names in design industry such as Steven Heller, Stefan Sagmeister, Paula Scher, and Veronique Vienne. She possesses a wonderful mastery of typography, print design, and print production. Tienken has created exquisite, high-end invitations, identity systems, book jackets, catalogues and promotional materials for clients such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York Historical Society, The MS Foundation, and Bloomberg L.P., and Bloomberg Press. Awards received include American Graphic Design, HOW Regional Design Annual, and PRINT Regional Design Annual.
