After a 16-year NFL career with the Los Angeles Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs, Marcus Allen retired after the 1997 season as one of the greatest running backs in the history of the game. He also is the only player in the history of the NFL to have more than 10,000 yards rushing and 5,000 yards receiving. After retiring, Allen joined CBS as a television commentator. He was a first-ballot NFL Hall of Fame selection in 2003.
