Oversight Review of the Treasury Department's Inspector General : Congressional Hearings

This review was initiated after the Committee learned of allegations that the Treasury Dept.'s Inspector General (IG) had improperly awarded consulting contracts & had mismanaged a highly sensitive investigation. First, there was testimony about the alleged illegal improprieties in the award & administration of two consulting contracts, & described a pattern of careless management by the IG. Then the Treasury IG responded to these concerns.
