Christopher Matthew's first job after university was teaching in a girls' finishing school in Switzerland. The author has been a columnist for most of the major newspapers, currently writes on books and TV for the Daily Mail, and is well known as a broadcaster. He lives in London and Suffolk David Eccles -- still not yet sixty -- was born and educated in Ireland. He went to the Central School of Art and Design at the end of the Swinging Sixties, and then on to a variety of jobs in book and publicity design, but currently works as a freelance illustrator.
