Jeff Vande Zande lives in Bay City, Michigan, with his wife and their two children. He teaches English at Delta College and enjoys fishing Michigan’s many trout streams. His short fiction has appeared in Passages North, Night Train, The MacGuffin, Crab Creek Review, and Iron Horse Literary Review, among others. His two books of fiction include Emergency Stopping and Other Stories (Bottom Dog Press) and The Bridge (March Street Press), a small collection of stories that take place around the Mackinac Bridge, and Transient and Tornado Warning (March Street Press), two collections of poetry.
