The Bible says that God will supply all our needs (Philippians 4:16). If healing is not a need, then what is? Imagine your life or the life of a loved one is threatened by a serious illness. If that is not a need, then words have no meaning and communication is impossible. If we say that we have a personal relationship with God, but in a time of great sickness, we have no idea of what God’s will is, then in what sense can we say that we know God?
