Award winning writer Marilyn Webber has written for children's day time and prime time television programming. She has freelanced for ABC, CBS, and USA networks and for studios such as Universal and Disney. Her romantic comedy screenplay, Killing Harry, won Best Screenplay at the Texas Film Festival. Her one hour pilot spec script, a.k.a., won Best Original Pilot in the Scriptapaloozatv Contest and is now a television drama series to be shown on USA and PAX. Miss Webber has an M.F.A. from the American Film Institute and has taught creative writing extension courses, given independent seminars on screenwriting and writing for animation, and has served on panels at writing conferences. A member of the Writer's Guild of America, she has been a judge for the Cable Ace Awards for dramatic writing, and she consults as a script analyst.
