She is currently working on a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering and Communications at George Washington University. Korper and Ellis founded SMU's Networking Technologies Program in 1995. In 1998, they developed The E-Commerce Program, which consists of six courses focusing in Web/Commerce server, back-end integration to relational databases and transaction systems, credit card verification integration, firewall security and Java Technologies.
