This book represents the proceedings of a research workshop on Deconvolution and Inversion held in Rome, September 1986. The meeting was jointly sponsored by the European Association of Exploration Geophysicists, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the National Research Council in Italy and the National Science Foundation in the United States.
