Thomas Cousins is the head coach at Avon Park High School in Avon Park, Florida, where he also serves as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He has been a part of the Avon Park High School football coaching staff since 1999 and has been the head coach since 2003. Cousins has been involved with the game of football for more than 30 years as either a player or a coach. He began his coaching career at Newberry College, from which he graduated with an English degree in 1992, and then made stops at Goose Creek High School in South Carolina, Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina, and Hardee High School in Wauchula, Florida. Cousins is an active lecturer at football clinics around the country.
