How The Online Marketplace Works
List Your Textbooks
There are two ways to list items at ValoreBooks.com, you can list one item at a time or upload an inventory file.
List an Item
Enter the items ISBN or UPC number on the Sell an Item page. After entering the ISBN or UPC, set the items condition, quantity and price. Then, click the "Sell this Item" button.
Upload an inventory file
Create an inventory file or use an existing Amazon tab file. If you are currently listing on Amazon.com®, you may upload your Amazon® Open Listings Report. If you have a file type that is not listed above, please contact us.
You may upload a full or partial inventory file. A full inventory file consists of all items you are currently listing. A partial inventory file consists of the items you would like to add, modify or delete.
To Upload your inventory file, log-in to your seller account and click Upload Inventory. Browse your computer for the file you would like to upload. Select if your upload is a full or partial inventory file. Then, click the "Upload File" button. Once your file is uploaded you should receive an email containing the results of your upload.

Consumers Buy Your Items
Once your items are listed for sale, buyers can purchase them at ValoreBooks.com.
Selling Your Items
ValoreBooks.com is an online marketplace where multiple sellers are listed on a product page side by side. Customers select the listing they would like to purchase based on price, comments, feedback score and seller location. For many customers, the lowest price wins, but the other criteria also plays a very important role in their decision making process.
Ship Your Items
Confirm your order and ship your items to the buyer. ValoreBooks.com will notify you via email when your item has sold. You must confirm orders within 48 business hours (excluding weekends and holidays) or they will automatically be cancelled.
Item Sold Notification
You will be notified via email when your item has sold. The email will contain details of the item sold and where it shall be shipped.
Fulfill Orders
To fill orders, log in to your seller account and click Orders Pending. An item retrieval list may be printed by selecting the check boxes on the left and clicking the "View Item List" button on the bottom of the page. Order Invoices may be printed by selecting the check boxes on the left and clicking the "Print Orders" button on the bottom of the page.
Confirm Orders
Confirm items that are ready to ship by selecting the check boxes on the left and clicking the "Confirm Selected" button on the bottom of the page. Orders must be confirmed within 48 business hours (excluding weekends and holidays) or they will automatically be cancelled. Buyers will be sent a "Your item has been shipped" email 1 business day after the order has been confirmed.
Ship Items
Package your items tightly in a box or padded envelope and affix a shipping label to the front of the package. Take the package to your local post office. Orders must be shipped within 1 business day of order confirmation.
Get Paid
Buyer payments are collected on your behalf by ValoreBooks.com. Seller payments are issued two times per month.
Seller Payments
As you confirm orders, ValoreBooks.com processes buyer payments on your behalf. ValoreBooks.com gives you the item price (minus a commission) and a reimbursement to cover your shipping costs.
Seller payments close on the 15th and last day of each month and are issued within 10 business days via check in the mail.
Marketplace Pricing
ValoreBooks.com offers one simple pricing plan. We ONLY charge a commission fee when your items sell. We do not charge any monthly, listing or closing fees. It's that simple. Sellers will also receive a shipping credit per item sold based on the method of shipping. The shipping credit amounts per product cateogory are listed in the chart below.
